PT Samindo Utama Kaltim was established in 1996. PT Samindo Utama Kaltim offers supporting services for the coal mining activities, i.e. hauling activities. Hauling activities conducted by PT Samindo Utama Kaltim is the transportation of coal from stock pile until the coal port by utilizing two vessel hauling truck. PT Samindo Utama Kaltim is actively transporting the coal owned by PT KIDECO Jaya Agung since 1996.
PT Samindo Utama Kaltim operates in general mining contractor services and maintenance of equipment with advanced technology. To perform its business line, PT Samindo Utama Kaltim may also perform in digging/stripping, hauling, stock piling, construction of hauling road, maintenance of hauling road and maintenance of heavy equipment in mining area.
Currently PT Samindo Utama Kaltim transports 15 million ton of coal yearly (it uses 100 - 120 ton trucks). PT Samindo Utama Kaltim operates for 24 hours on daily basis from the PT KIDECO Jaya Agung mine via the hauling road to the PT KIDECO Jaya Agung port, 39 km away. The company is poised to transport 20 million tons of coal yearly by maximazing its equipment utilization and optimized its process.
